I
had a rather interesting week this week, mainly because on Tuesday, I
woke up with my eye swollen shut and an itchy rash all over my face.
With the help of Sister Silcox, we decided it must be an allergic
reaction, so we went to the pharmacy to buy some anti-allergy
medication.
Unfortunately, they didn´t have
any non-drowsy kind....So I was pretty much a zombie all week, falling
alseep any time I had something to lean on. We didn´t really get to work
for 4 days straight because of that, which was quite the bummer.
However, we had lots of funny moments (including me falling alseep on
the bus and falling out of my seat onto the floor) and I got a lot
closer with my companion(s). I know Heavenly Father will help us make up
for the lost days if we continue to work even harder than ever. And now
my face is pretty much back to normal! Yippee!!
Christmas
was great, especially getting to Skype my family. They´re the best :) I
know that family is so essential to God´s plan for us. He put us in
families so that we can know what it means to love and be loved. And if
you´re having problems in your family, don´t get discouraged! Families
are by no means perfect, but with the Gospel, patience, and a lot of
love, I know that any family situation can get better. I love my family
so much!! And I love promising the people of Brazil that they can be
with their families forever. What an amazing gift that is!!
Sorry
that I don´t have much more to say about this week (I was sleeping
through a lot of it haha) but I´m so excited to get back out and work
even harder this week! The Gospel is so good and I can´t believe I have
this opportunity to share it!
